Join Us for Freedom Fest
Freedom Fest is a community celebration dedicated to supporting
children, youth, and families in Lorain while raising awareness about
human trafficking and how to keep our young people safe.
This special event brings the community together to provide helpful
resources, fun activities, and important education that empowers
children and families.
Freedom Fest is part of TheQueensCorner’s mission to protect youth and
create a safer future for our community.
What We Will Be Offering
Families and children will enjoy a variety of free services and
activities including:
• Free school supplies for children preparing for the new school year
• Free haircuts for children and youth
• Face painting and fun activities for kids
• Food and refreshments for the community
• Educational resources about human trafficking prevention and child
safety
Local organizations and community partners will also be present to
provide information and resources that help protect and empower children
and youth.
Why Freedom Fest Matters
Human trafficking can affect communities everywhere. Through Freedom
Fest, we aim to educate families and youth about:
• Recognizing warning signs
• Online and personal safety
• Protecting children and teens from exploitation
• Community resources available for help
Education and awareness are powerful tools in preventing trafficking and
protecting our youth.
No Registration Required
This event is free and open to the community.
Families can simply come out, enjoy the event, and take advantage of the
services and activities provided.
