Services to bridge survivors to their future

Children and teens should be learning and having fun with their friends, not focused on just surviving the day.
Our services to these survivors of human trafficking by meeting their basic needs will just be the initial steps towards reclaiming their dignity and building a future that is far different from the trauma they have just survived.
Safe Spaces for Minor Survivors of Child Trafficking
We understand the urgent need for care when a child is rescued from trafficking.  Children in our our safe spaces will receive food, clothing and have other basic needs met by trained staff in a loving, peaceful environment.
Meanwhile, law enforcement, social services, the courts, families, or other adults involved in the situation or case have the time to make the best decisions for the next steps in the child’s care.

Providing more than a Safe Place
Some girls under the age of 18 will need access to long-term programming and services but will not be able to reunite with their families or face other obstacles.
The goal of our long-term safe home is to help them become independent, wise, and thriving adults with strong friendships and a dependable support network, all of which will help reduce the risk of re-victimization.
Ohio is among the states that have extended foster care beyond 18 so these children have more time to transition to independent living. They can learn a trade or attend college, find stable employment with a sustainable income, etc. while having a safe place to live.
The Queen’s Corner is committed to continuing to help those girls we began serving as minors who want to stay connected with us as they finish their teens and grow into their twenties through   aftercare services.
Supporting adult survivors
Adult women who survived being trafficked as children may not have had access to the types of counseling and services they needed when they were young.
We will connect them to resources in the community and our strategic partners who can meet their needs, walking alongside them as a trusted friend and their biggest cheerleader!
